Infrastructure: Power
Sentrum ensures that data centre power supplies are both diverse and resilient to meet individual client requirements.

Infrastructure: Power
Sentrum data centres provide diverse resilient supplies of power both into and around its buildings and each facility has two separate power feeds. The power infrastructure varies according to the specification selected, ensuring it is both flexible and ready to use. All Sentrum data centres are designed to provide power configurations to meet high density requirements.
All facilities include N+N power supplies, fully rated to the maximum demand of all the data halls and support services.
Incoming voltages vary from single feeders to multiple supplies 132kV, 33kV and 11kV with various supply distribution voltages, whilst the larger sites host sub stations dedicated to the facility providing an increased level of control and resilience.
Standby power is provided on all sites either Tier III or Tier IV (N+1), (N+N) using generators that are all low sulphur fuel compatible and are acoustically treated to meet stringent requirements (up to 60dBA@1m).
Generation is currently provided at two voltages depending upon the site and solution (400 volts and 11,000 volts).
Further details of the power availability for individual facilities can be found in the data centre section area of this website.
Committed to delivering energy-efficiencies in every aspect of its data centres, Sentrum utilises low carbon solutions without compromising reliability or resilience.
