Fire Detection & Suppression

Sentrum installs comprehensive fire detection systems, built to N+1 standards, in all the facilities across its portfolio. Should a fire occur, gas suppression technology is used to ensure that any flames are extinguished rapidly without interference or damage to clients’ equipment. All fire detection and suppression systems within the Sentrum data centres can also be adapted to meet individual client requirements.

Solutions include Argonite and Novec suppression systems with all the pressure relief and safety interlocks necessary to meet the construction requirements. Where possible the use of pre-action sprinklers is also provided.

High levels of detection density are always employed with the use of VESDA systems, fresh air inlet detection, heat detectors, ionisation detectors, optical detectors, flame detectors and manual release options.
